Spentix ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our iOS application.

Data Storage

All your expense data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This includes:

• Expense amounts, names, and descriptions
• Expense dates and categories
• Custom categories you create
• Monthly summaries and statistics

Important: We do not collect, access, transmit, or store any of your expense data on our servers. Your financial information stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the app and fix bugs, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics provided by Google. These services collect anonymous usage information:

What We Collect:

• App usage data: Which screens you view, how often you use the app
• Device information: Device model, iOS version, app version
• Performance data: App crashes, errors, and performance metrics
• General analytics: Feature usage, session duration (all anonymized)

What We DO NOT Collect:

• ❌ Your expense data (amounts, descriptions, categories)
• ❌ Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) - we don't track you across apps
• ❌ Any information that can identify you personally

Analytics Purpose:

We use this anonymous data to:

• Understand which features are most useful
• Identify and fix bugs and crashes
• Improve app performance
• Decide which features to build next

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (by Google)

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics
• Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reporting and diagnostics

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

The only data shared is anonymous analytics data with Firebase/Google as described above, which cannot be used to identify you personally.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Data Security

Your expense data is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure UserDefaults system. This data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

We recommend:

• Keeping your device passcode/biometrics enabled
• Regularly backing up your device to iCloud or iTunes
• Not sharing your device with untrusted users

Your Rights and Choices

Delete Your Data

You can delete all your expense data at any time by:

• Option 1: Deleting the app from your device (all local data is removed)
• Option 2: Manually deleting all expenses and categories within the app

Opt Out of Analytics

Currently, analytics are used to improve the app for all users. If you wish to opt out, please contact us and we can provide guidance on iOS settings to limit analytics.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
• Posting an announcement in the app (for significant changes)

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.

International Users

Spentix is available worldwide. If you are using the app outside the United States, please be aware that Firebase Analytics processes data in the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers.
